When the Department receives this START text message, we will “Opt-In” your cell phone to receive text alerts and send a confirmation to your cell phone by text.
Opt-Out Policy
If you would like to stop receiving text messages from the Department regarding election related information, you can Opt-Out by texting the word STOP to long code (717-974-9050) from your cell phone or by simply replying to a text message STOP. Text messages will be disabled to your number on all calling lists associated with the long code (717-974-9050) that contain your number. You can Opt-In again at any time by texting START to applicable long code (717-974-9050).
